Each year on the first day of fall, national organizations from the Falls Free Coalition and the National Council on Aging (NCOA) join together for National Falls Prevention Awareness Day, a day of action to help raise awareness and prevention of falls.

The Citrus County Memorial Health Foundation YMCA will be hosting their second youth triathlon on Sunday, October 15. Kids can swim, bike and run their way around the YMCA campus for a fun fitness challenge. Sponsorship opportunities still available.

Golf for a Great Cause

23rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament

The J.P. Gills Family YMCA 23rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be on Friday, October 27. The event will be held at the scenic Seven Springs Golf and Country Club in New Port Richey. Registration is limited to the first 120 participants. This will be an excellent day on the links while helping the Y with their mission to strengthen the community.

The event tees off with a lunch and registration from 12-1 p.m. This is a four person scramble tournament with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Each golfer will receive a polo shirt, goody bag, lunch and buffet dinner.

Join us and be a part of our 12th Annual Mayor's Prayer Breakfast. Nationally, YMCA prayer breakfasts help to join the community in spiritual unity through prayer and reflection.  This event will include music, fellowship and prayers led by leaders in the community.

Palm Harbor Kids' Triathlon Rescheduled

Event Date is now September 24

The Greater Palm Harbor YMCA annual Kids' Triathlon “Swim, Bike, Run for Freedom” presented by Florida Hospital North Pinellas has been postponed to Sunday, September 24, 2017. 

The opening ceremonies are dedicated to all those who served our country and especially to those heroes who perished on September 11, 2001.

When I moved from Connecticut to Florida in April 2017, I was terrified. I thought I wouldn’t make any new friends and I would only feel fully comfortable in my house and in my grandmother’s house. The day after I moved to Florida, my grandmother took me to the Clearwater YMCA, although she wasn’t a member there, she’d heard amazing things about it through friends.
