Tiffany Brown, Executive Director of the Greater Ridgecrest YMCA, is a lifelong member of the Ridgecrest community, growing up in the neighborhood she now proudly serves and continues to call home. Her recent recognition as the City of Largo’s 2026 Black History Month Honoree is especially meaningful, honoring not only her professional leadership but her deep, personal commitment to the community that shaped her journey.

Through decades of service focused on youth development and family support, Tiffany has become a trusted and transformational leader whose work reflects both her roots and her unwavering dedication to helping the next generation thrive.

With a background that includes service at Washington Wee School, Young Life and the YMCA, Tiffany brings a deep understanding of youth development rooted in faith, compassion and consistency. Her work is driven by the belief that every child deserves to be seen, supported and given opportunities to thrive academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

At the Greater Ridgecrest YMCA, she has championed programs that create safe spaces for youth, foster leadership and build lifelong confidence and connection. Tiffany’s approach is personal and purposeful, grounded in relationships and a commitment to showing up for young people day after day. She leads with authenticity, ensuring that families feel supported and youth feel empowered to discover who they are and who they can become.

When accepting the 2026 Black History Month Award, Tiffany shared, “I am deeply honored and humbled to accept this recognition from the City of Largo as the 2026 Black History Month Honoree. To be seen and celebrated in the very community that raised me, shaped me and trusted me with its people, especially its youth, is truly a blessing.” She adds, “Black history is a faith story. It is a story of perseverance, prayer and promise. Serving as the Executive Director of the Greater Ridgecrest YMCA and with Young Life is not just my work; it is my calling. Every day, I try to live out my faith by loving people, serving people, strengthening families and showing up for this community with consistency and compassion.”
