We have a few BIG changes happening at our Greater Palm Harbor YMCA!
We recently welcomed Alex Delgado as our new Executive Director. Alex comes to us from the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA, where he has spent the last 18 years growing into a passionate and visionary leader.
Beginning his Y journey as a part-time lifeguard, Alex rose through the ranks to most recently serve as the Associate Executive Director at the East Pasco and Dade City YMCAs. Throughout his time with the Tampa Y Association, he played a pivotal role in elevating member engagement, expanding youth development programs and strengthening team culture. Most notably, his leadership at East Pasco and Dade City helped grow their Advisory Board and significantly increased fundraising support for the local community.
Alex will bring that same energy, vision and dedication to the Greater Palm Harbor YMCA. He is the perfect leader to help increase membership, foster deeper community connections and ensure our branch thrives as we complete our exciting wellness floor enhancements.
These upgrades are part of our ongoing commitment to providing members with the best possible experience every time they walk through our doors. Enhancements include fresh paint, new flooring and state-of-the-art fitness equipment, all designed to create a more welcoming, functional and motivating space for members to achieve their wellness goals.
Under Alex’s leadership, we’re confident the Greater Palm Harbor YMCA will continue to grow as a vibrant hub for health, connection and community.
