This course helps YMCA staff develop the skills needed to create membership experiences that exceed member expectations, connect members to the YMCA mission, and advance members to their engagement and commitment to the YMCA.Your Supervisor's approval is required to register in ACTIVE, and each branch is responsible for enrolling staff in YMCA of the Suncoast Trainings.

This training is designed for first-time supervisors, supervisors that are new to the YMCA of the Suncoast and supervisors that would just like a refresher. Supervisors of full-time and part-time status should be encouraged to attend.

This course awards the YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor Certification.

The YMCA Lifeguard V7 course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to be a lifeguard and professional rescuer. Participants will be certified in American Safety and Health Institute's (ASHI) courses: Basic Life Support (BLS), Adult First Aid, Pediatric First Aid, and Emergency use of Medical Oxygen.
