Preparing Children to Learn
The Greater Ridgecrest YMCA and the City County Family YMCA offer a free Early Learning Readiness (ELR) program. This program is an evidence-based initiative for children aged 0–5 and their caregivers, designed to prepare children for school through play-based learning. It focuses on building physical, verbal and social skills in an informal setting. The program also helps caregivers learn how to support their child's development at home.
