Expanding After-School Care to Pinellas Families

The YMCA of the Suncoast is excited to welcome Guardian Angels Catholic School in Pinellas County as the newest addition to our School Age Programs. Now several weeks into the program, students ages 5 to 12 have a safe, supportive place to learn, connect and grow after the school day ends.

The addition of Guardian Angels reflects the continued growth of our School Age Programs and our commitment to providing safe, supportive after-school care to families throughout the communities we serve.

“We’re excited to bring the YMCA’s afterschool program to Guardian Angels Catholic School. We look forward to getting to know the students and families and creating a place where children feel welcome, supported, and excited to come each afternoon,” said Beth, Chief Youth Development Officer at the YMCA of the Suncoast.

While many of our School Age Programs are offered in public schools, welcoming Guardian Angels allows us to extend our reach into the private school community and serve even more local families. As the program continues, we look forward to building relationships with students and families while providing an environment where children can learn, build friendships and thrive.
