More than 200 young athletes came together at the Greater Palm Harbor YMCA for the annual Swim, Bike, Run for Freedom Kids Triathlon, where determination, perseverance and confidence were on full display.

Participants, ages 5 to 15, challenged themselves through age-appropriate swim, bike and run courses while being cheered on by families, volunteers and community members. For many, crossing the finish line wasn't just about completing a race. It was about believing in themselves, setting goals and discovering what they were capable of accomplishing.

Beyond the excitement of race day, events like the Kids Triathlon encourage children to develop healthy habits that can last a lifetime. They learn the value of preparation, perseverance and supporting one another while celebrating every accomplishment, whether it's completing their first triathlon or achieving a personal best.

The event would not have been possible without the dedication of volunteers, staff, sponsors and community partners who came together to support every participant from the starting line to the finish line. Together, they helped create an unforgettable experience that reflects the YMCA's commitment to empowering young people to learn, grow and thrive.
