We are dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable school age programming in Citrus, Hernando, Pinellas and Pasco counties. Our before and after care programs offer a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn, grow and build social skills before and after school. Activities focus on academic support, physical activity, STEAM and character development, with structured support for homework and healthy snacks provided. The programs aim to help children develop in spirit, mind and body through a unique blend of education, character-building and engaging activities.
Our trained staff provides safe, affordable, high-quality programs for children so you can have peace of mind while you work. Staff members are partners with parents or guardians, working together to help kids grow up healthy, happy and strong.
All YMCA elementary school programs are licensed and are contracted with the Early Learning Coalition to provide subsidized care.
Programs are offered on school out days and during all holiday breaks at select locations.

Our Afterschool Programs
Join the YMCA Annual Campaign and help ensure every child has access to enriching afterschool opportunities. Through the generosity of parents, volunteers, and community supporters, the campaign provides scholarships for families who might otherwise be unable to participate in YMCA programs.
A Deal For You
Children enrolled in our School-Age Program have an All-Access Pass to the Y! Families are invited to upgrade to a full facility family association-wide membership at any time throughout the school year. Your family's membership will be at a reduced rate if the child's School-Age Program fees are paid by bank or credit/debit card draft EFT. Our one-time joining fee will be waived and you'll get $10 off your monthly membership fee. Simply notify the Y's staff of your child's participation in this program. In addition, for our current members, please notify the staff at your branch that your child is enrolled in this program so they can apply the $10 monthly reduction to your account.
