2016 YMCA Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast

Join the YMCA of the Suncoast on Tuesday, November 1, for the annual Mayor's Prayer Breakfast at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort, on Clearwater Beach from 7 to 9 a.m. This is the 11th Anniversary for the YMCA of the Suncoast to host this event, which brings together the community for the purpose of prayer and fellowship.

Summer Camp PAC Endorses Candidate

The YMCA of the Suncoast and the Summer Camp PAC launched its endorsement of Zoe for President on Healthy Kids Day. Earlier this year the YMCA of the USA launched the campaign to elect a one-year-old girl as our nation’s Commander in Chief...in 2064. The campaign highlights the potential the Y sees in all kids to grow up and change the world if they’re nurtured properly and supported along the way.

The YMCA of the Suncoast Before and Afterschool program at Lake St. George Elementary honored a fellow student, Ali, today for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. More than a year ago the 10-year-old was diagnosed with a form of bone cancer called osteosarcoma.

The Y is working to close the gender gap and address racial and ethnic disparities in access to STEM education.

The Clearwater YMCA is hosting this event to raise money for Camp COAST (Children on the Autism Spectrum Together), a summer day camp for children on the spectrum living in Pinellas County.
