Some are in assisted living facilities, while others live miles from their children and grandchildren. And even those who are invited to their family’s holiday gathering may feel disconnected, as younger generations run about the house sending text messages to Santa and snapchatting with friends on their smartphones. The YMCA of the Suncoast is pleased to announce the Citrus Memorial Health Foundation donated $2.8 million to the Y at a ceremony on Wednesday, November 19. The donation closed the $8 million gap needed to build a YMCA in Citrus County.
