FLOAT - Infant and Toddler Survival Swim Program

The YMCA's FLOAT program is a 1-to-1 Infant & Toddler swim safety program. Float teaches children how to roll on their backs, breathe and float to the side of the pool until help arrives. Those precious seconds can save a life!

FLOAT Sessions include eight, 10-15 minute, private lessons with a certified FLOAT instructor. Sessions are "mini" lessons that maximize the short attention span of infants and toddlers while gradually increasing comfort level in the water through personalized instruction.

The FLOAT program is intended for infants & toddlers ages 1 to 4 years and is available to members and non-members of our YMCAs.

To find out more or to register your child for the FLOAT program, reach out to the Aquatics Director at your local branch.
