We are continuosly amazed by the support we receive from the community. Luke, a 5th grader at Booker Creek Elementary, is one of those people who has supported--and amazed us. He took his talent, combined it with a school project and created a delicious fundraiser for our annual campaign.

Our Teen Leaders Clubs are doing something great for the communities they serve by recycling electronic devices. The club is partnering with eCycle Florida to provide each YMCA of the Suncoast location the weekend of April 29-30, with several 4x4x4 bins to collect recyclable items (see list below). For every pound collected the club will receive 15 cents.
With a commitment to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y knows physical activity is essential to every child’s health, but many children in the U.S. could benefit from more active play.
There are many reasons to join the Y - building endurance, losing weight, strengthening your heart. When you join the Y, you’re committing to more than simply becoming healthier. You are supporting the values and programs that strengthen your community. Here's a story about a group of active ladies from the Greater Palm Harbor YMCA that decide to build more than muscle- one stitch at a time.
At the Y, we have a deep passion for aquatics and want all kids to learn how to swim. During Safety Around Water Week, we give kids ages 3-12 this opportunity. If your kid is a non-swimmer or a beginner, join us as we teach children basic swimming skills that keep them safe and build their confidence in the water.
The YMCA of the Suncoast launches its annual campaign on Wednesday, March 1, to ensure that everyone from Largo to Crystal River has access to vital community programs and resources that support youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
The YMCA of the Suncoast is calling all professional and amateur anglers for the Flats Fishing Classic on Friday, April 14. The fishing classic is preceded by the Captains' Party and Benefit Auction at the Carlouel Yacht Club on Thursday, April 13.
