Join us and be a part of our 12th Annual Mayor's Prayer Breakfast. Nationally, YMCA prayer breakfasts help to join the community in spiritual unity through prayer and reflection.  This event will include music, fellowship and prayers led by leaders in the community.

YMCAs of Tampa Bay and the Be Water Smart from the Start water safety campaign have taught thousands of children and adults how to be safe in and around the water. Join the Y as we celebrate the success of the program on Sunday, August 6, when the Rays play the Milwaukee Brewers.

Every year, thousands of teachers and students find themselves relying on free school supplies from generous donors, in order to take full advantage of the educational opportunities in front of them.  This year, the YMCA of the Suncoast wants to make sure that every student and every teacher has the chance to get the most out of their education.

From July 15-31, if you donate to the Y new school supplies we'll cover your join fee. Already a member? Donate anyway and help kids get ready to achieve. Learn more.

These ailments occur when the body can’t cool itself quickly enough. Potential problems range from heat rash (prickly heat) to heat stroke.

With National Water Safety Month in May and summer around the corner, it’s a great time for parents to remember the importance of ensuring their children are equipped with essential water safety skills. Drowning is the second leading cause of death for children ages 5 to 14. According to the Florida Health Department, our state loses more children under age five to drowning than any other.
