West Pasco Prayer Breakfast 2017

As an organization founded on Christian principles, YMCA of the Suncoast embraces the importance and sacred nature of prayer. Nationally, prayer breakfasts help to join the community in prayer and reflection. Join the YMCA of the Suncoast for their 11th Annual West Pasco Prayer Breakfast Friday, December 1.

This event will include music, fellowship, prayers led by leaders from area religious organizations and keynote speaker, Richard A. Bekesh, AIA and musical accompanist, Shalyah Fearing.

As SEI flourished, Rich wanted to give back to the community.  He  has been involved with causes supporting community health, homelessness and child protection.  He has been recognized for his efforts with the Governor's Community Service Award, Nature Coast Philanthropist of the Year and Bright House Network's Regional Business of the Year to name a few.  He shares his passion for the community with his wife of 30 years Laura and their 3 children Nathan, Matthew and Emily.  

Shalyah Fearing is the second oldest of eight siblings, originally from Pasco County where she spent time acting, writing short stories and poems and singing.  She has been singing since age 5, developed her talent attending the Patel Conservatory on scholarship and at age 15 auditioned for NBC's "The Voice".  After a chair turn from Christina Aguilera and being "stolen" by Pharell Williams-- wound up in the top-eight semifinals as part of Adam Levin's team.

The buffet breakfast will be held at Spartan Manor in New Port Richey. Tickets are $30 per person for general seating and reserved tables of eight start at $1000.

Doors open at 7 a.m., buffet begins at 7:15 a.m.
