Working on Weights Families
Working on Weights Families is the same concept as Working on Weights however you and your child or children (age 10 and up) work together as a family with one trainer. Sessions run for 6 consecutive weeks and are held on Tuesday & Thursday starting at your convenience.

Healthy Family Home
This is a free program, open to the community, designed to help improve your home environment & jumpstart healthy habits that will lead to a healthier way of living, by encouraging families to make small changes on a daily basis.
All participants receive a Starter Kit, which is designed to give the adult in the home, some background information on the three keys to creating a Healthy Family Home: play every day, eat healthy and make family time. All ages are welcome, and this program is free to members. Please call Joyce Chiavetta at 787-9622 if you would like to participate.
Kids' Zone
Your kids will beg you to work out so they can play! The Kids' Zone is a suitable environment for children ages 6 weeks to 10 yrs. Staff on duty is trained and attentive to the children's needs. The Kids' Zone offers a variety of activities. What a great place to help your children develop spirit, mind and body!

Policies:
- must have Family or Single Parent membership.
- Children must wear socks while in the Kids' Zone.
- Parents must remain in the facility while their child/children
are in the Kids' Zone.
- Children must be signed in and out by their parent/guardian only.
- For your child's safety, we will collect the child's and parent's photo membership cards when you sign your child into the Kids' Zone.
- No food or drinks allowed in toddler and structure side of the Kids' Zone.
- Please refrain from bringing sick children into the Kids' Zone.
- Children are allowed in the Kids' Zone a maximum of 1 ½ hours.
- For a complete set of rules, please see a Kids' Zone attendant.
Birthday Parties
Have your Birthday at the YMCA Kids Zone, available Saturdays and Sundays, 3:30 - 5:30 pm. Your Birthday Party includes two hours in our Kids Zone, as well as a YMCA Party Coordinator to assist in planning and executing your party.
The party also consists of:
- Assistance with set-up and clean-up
- Games and help with supervision of children
- Ice and Ice Chest to Cool Beverages
- Tables, Chairs, and all Paper Goods
- YMCA Birthday Keepsake
Standard Parties:
Facility Members $135, up to 15 kids; $8/child over 15 kids
Programs Members $160, up to 15 kids; $10/child over 15 kids
Themed Parties:
Includes theme-based crafts, games, and snacks
Facility Members $220, up to 15 kids; $12/child over 15 kids
Program Members $250, up to 15 kids; $12/child over 15 kids

Mom's Morning Out
Enjoy your morning and let your children enjoy activities such as arts and crafts, circle time, music time, dancing. Please bring lunch and drink, socks, and closed toe shoes.

YSP-YMCA Summer Playgroup
Each day of the week hosts a special theme and format. Monday and Wednesday are Art days, Tuesday is Spanish day, Thursday will feature Nature themes and Friday will be a Mom’s Morning Out from 10:00 am-1:00 pm. (Some Fridays, we will have a Special Theme Party). If your child needs a diaper change, you will be contacted.
Age: 2 - 5
Fee: Monday-Thursday, Facility Members $10 per day;
Program Members $15 per day
Fridays, Facility Members $12 per day; Program Members $18 per day
A $2 late fee applied if you register same day of the event.
Weekly Fee: $48 Facility Members; $68 Program Members

Parent's Night Out
Parents enjoy a night out while we take care of the children. We provide pizza, drinks and games to keep them busy. Children will watch a PG rated movie at the end of the night.
Schedule: 2nd and 4th Friday, 6 – 10:00 pm
Age: 3-12
Fee: Facility Members $12; Program Members $18

Introductory swim class for parent
and child. Learn swim basics and water safety skills with your
child. Help your child through the steps of water adjustment
to propelling themselves through the water.
Age: 6 - 36 months

Volunteer Opportunities
We are actively and continually recruiting for the following positions. Please pick an area of interest and pick up a Volunteer Application at the front desk!
Kids Zone
Kids Zone Attendant: Interested in out-going and responsible volunteers to acquaint children with the rules and activities in the kids zone, take responsibility for the safety and welfare of each child, engage the children in positive playtime, initiate games and role play and read stories.
Kids Zone Programs: Need creative and self-motivated volunteers to assist the Kids Zone staff with Preschool programs, committing to creating a safe and fun environment for our program participants, work one-on-one with preschoolers encouraging them and guiding them during craft time, snack time, and playtime.
Aquatics
Make a Splash Swim Buddy: Looking for responsible caring individuals over the age of 16 to work with special needs children in an aquatic setting to encourage water safety. These “swim buddies” will provide a sense of inclusion to these children that fosters diversity and enhances their lives and our community
Assistant Swim Instructor: Seeking out individuals that are high school aged and up interested in entertaining young children in our Swim Lesson program by playing character building games with them while the instructor facilitates the lesson.
Youth Programs
Sport Coaches and Officials: Do you love sports and mentoring kids? Volunteer to coach a team! We are looking for coaches for soccer, basketball and flag football. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and able to commit for a whole season. Volunteer officials are also needed.
After School Activity Coordinator: Looking for adult role models to be a part of our team. Lead students in an after school club of your choice, possibilities include: cooking, photography, dj skills, model rockets, arts & crafts, etc. We have a small budget for supplies. We are only limited by your imagination.
Administration
Member Services Volunteer: Organized and detail oriented people are needed to join our Membership Services team! Tasks include greeting members, scanning membership cards for facility access, assisting with filing, photocopying, data processing, and organization of systems. Other activities may include assisting with bulk mailings, correspondence, and interacting with YMCA members as needed
Special Event Volunteer: We are looking for adult role models to be a part of our special event team. Help set up, clean up, and participate in special event programming at our YMCA branch and/or offsite. Special events include: International Day, Pool parties, Grape Escape, Kids Fishing Challenge, Annual Giving Campaign Kickoff, Member Appreciation Days, etc.
