The program teaches individuals with disabilities to “be safe and have fun in and around the water”. The program is based on 5 safety rules developed specifically for individuals with disabilities. The Joey Pizzano Memorial Fund (JPMF) Make A Splash Water Safety Program in partnership with Fairfax County Department of Community and Recreation Services was first piloted in 2001. We're happy to offer this program to the Palm Harbor YMCA community. To learn more about this unique program, log onto www.jpmf.org or call the Greater Palm Harbor branch at 727-787-9622.
