YMCA Membership
The YMCA of the Suncoast welcomes you and your family to join our family! Our YMCA is a charitable non-profit health and human service organization that has been serving the Suncoast region for over 50 years. Today, we serve over 84,000 men, women, and children through 9 facilities in Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, and Pinellas counties. We have a variety of membership categories to serve you and your family well. Our staff can speak with you to help you find the category that suites you best:

Terms: The YMCA is a charitable, non-profit, membership-based organization. As you join, you will be charged a one-time join fee based on your selected category of membership. Online payments are to be made with a major credit card. You may choose to pay in full or choose Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to draft from your major credit card or your bank checking account on the 1st or 15th of each month perpetually.
You can enjoy the YMCA experience as an individual or as a family. With access to any of the 9 locations in Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties, members can choose to work out near home, office or both. Click here to identify your YMCA branch of choice. In these tough economic times, we're all feeling the stresses and pressures that have emerged with our nation's recession. At the YMCA, we want to take the pressure off and provide an avenue for stress-relief! Health is wealth, and your personal wellness is priceless. If you are a current YMCA member who has been affected by unemployment or other financial hardships, we can help.
YMCAs are charitable organizations here to serve people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes. The YMCA is community-based and believes that its programs and services should be available to everyone. That¹s why we offer an Open Doors Financial Assistance Program, which is a sliding fee scale designed to fit each individual¹s financial situation. Charitable contributions to the YMCA enable us to provide financial assistance on a sliding scale. We promise that everyone who qualifies will receive assistance to the greatest extent possible based on the availability of funds.
Over the years, we have found that the Open Doors program is most utilized by:
- Youth referred by schools, churches and organizations
- Adults who are temporarily out of work
- Those who are divorced and are experiencing financial hardships
- People on fixed incomes
- People who are overwhelmed by medical bills
- Those experiencing other financial hardships
