In these tough economic times, we're all feeling the stresses and pressures that have emerged with our nation's recession. At the YMCA, we want to take the pressure off and provide an avenue for stress-relief! Health is wealth, and your personal wellness is priceless. If you are a current YMCA member who has been affected by unemployment or other financial hardships, we can help.

School Before And After Care (4-12 years)

The YMCA is pleased to provide school-age child care for you and your children. We know how important it is to have affordable, convenient, quality care for your child while you are at work. We believe there is a great deal of difference between "baby-sitting" and family-center childcare.

The YMCA School Age Program seeks to involve parents in ways which strengthen family life and make it more fulfilling. The YMCA School Age Program is a unique program. The "Y" operates with the endorsement and collaboration of the Hernando County Schools. At the "Y", we share your belief that a childcare program must be dependable, safe, creative, and fun.
