Getting Started Appointment
Begin your journey with a Wellness Consultation. One of our trained staff will meet with you to discuss your wellness goals. By learning about your likes and dislikes, your goals and objectives, as well as your motivations and frustrations, our caring staff will help you explore the road to health and design a plan that is right for you.
Equipment and Exercise Orientation
Our staff will take the time to familiarize you with the equipment, exercises and /or classes best designed to help your reach your goals. Follow-up sessions may be scheduled as you like, until you are comfortable with your routine or when you are ready to make some changes.

Personal
training is a one on one approach to overall health improvement.
People of all ages, body types, and level of fitness can benefit
form the services of a personal fitness trainer. A personal fitness
trainer helps you achieve these results by addressing your individual
needs and requirements to formulate a plan of action individually
designed to meet your specific needs. Whether you want to lose weight,
regain flexibility, develop speed or simply feel good again, personal
training is an activity that will continue to reap benefits in years
to come. Our personal trainers are certified trainers that are dedicated
to empowering you with the motivation and knowledge you need to
get and stay fit for life.
Session Rates:
1 hour session: $40
1 x week for 4 weeks: $140
2 x week for 4 weeks: $280
3 x week for 4 weeks: $420

Aquatic Bootcamp
Join instructors Victoria Cooper and Mike Morrall for low-impact, high intensity exercise in the pool including treading water, push-ups, sit-ups and cardio aerobics. This program is excellent for those teens and adults looking to shed a few pounds and build muscle using the water’s resistance. Participants must be at least 15 years old & must be comfortable in deep water.
Schedule: Monday & Wednesday, 7:30-8:30pm
Fee: Facility Members $30 per month
Boot
Camp
Join the ranks during this 4-week progressive strength and cardiovascular conditioning class that includes calisthenics, plyometrics, various drills, short distance running/walking, weights and more. This class is for all levels and ages so whether you are a beginner, an avid fitness enthusiast or just tired of the same old routine, this program is for you! Be prepared to go outside!
Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 6 am – sunrise
Fee: $40 Facility Members; $50 Program Members
CPR Classes
Classes will be held at the Clearwater Branch YMCA. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive American Red Cross CPR certification. Participant must successfully complete all skills and pass written test with 80%, for certification. For more information call 727-461-9622.

SilverSneakers® Fitness Program
The SilverSneakers® Fitness Program is the nation's leading exercise program designed exclusively for older adults. The basic SilverSneakers® Fitness Program membership includes the use of all the Clearwater Branch has to offer. Special SilverSneakers® Fitness Program exercise classes are available. The classes have certified instructors who guide participants through exercises that focus on strength, flexibility, mobility, range of motion, balance, agility, and coordination to improve activities for daily living.
A great class for seniors! Strength and range of motion benefits are the focus of this creative exercise program. Participants may sit or stand. Classes include SilverSneakers I, SilverSneakers II and YogaStretch.
Tai Chi Chuan
Tai Chi Chuan, an ancient internal Chinese martial art, is practiced as a martial arts therapy for the purposes of health and longevity. It is well known as the slow motion routines that groups of people practice every morning in parks across China and other parts of the world. Offered Monday through Thursday, our Tai Chi Chuan classes are FREE TO MEMBERS!

Massage Therapy
The Clearwater YMCA massage program is designed to offer members a quality environment in which they may experience the benefits of balancing mind, body and spirit. Our massage therapists are dedicated to the well-being of each YMCA member.
