For too many parents, safety in and around water is not on the list; and that's something we need to change.

Celebrating Older Adults at YMCA of the Suncoast

May 21, 2015

Every eight seconds, one of 78-million baby boomers in this country turns 60. Given that this generation will soon be the largest older adult population in American history, it’s not surprising that our national counterpart, YMCA of the USA, has identified healthy aging as a priority for communities nationwide.

May 27 is National Senior Health and Fitness Day, which makes this the perfect time to shine a spotlight on YMCA of the Suncoastwellness programs for older adults. Do you know someone who would benefit from one of these Y programs? If so, invite them to your favorite branch to learn more. Guests are always welcome!
